THE CROW AND THE JAR
It was the month of chaitra. The day was very hot. There was
scorching sun around. There was no water anywhere.one day a crow grew
thirsty.it flew here and there in search of water. He could not find the water.
Then he sat on the branch of tree. There was a pitcher under tree. The crow
flew to the pitcher. He found that there was only a little water at the bottom
of the pitcher. He tried to reach the water with his bill but failed.at once he
upon a plan. He picked up the stones one by one
and dropped them into the pitcher. When
he had dropped a large number of stones,
the water in the pitcher rose high enough for him to reach tithe crow drank
some water and his life was saved.
MORAL: where there is a will, there is a way.
Two friends
and a bear
Once there lived two friends in a certain village. They were
very intimate with each other.one day they went to a jungle to enjoy the
natural beauty. After walking some time the saw a bear coming toward them.one
of them knew how to climb a tree but the other did not. He quickly climbed a
tall tree thinking of his friend. Seeing
no other alternative the second one lay down on the ground and pretended to be dead.
The bear came near to him and smelt different parts of his body. Thinking e
dead the bear went away. After some time the friend one climbed down the tree
and asked his friend what the told him into his ears. Then he told his friend
that :A friend, who leaves his friend at the time of danger, is not a real
friend.”
MORAL: A Friend In Need Is A Friend
Indeed.
THE HARE AND TORTOISE
The hare is
a swift footed animal.while a tortoise is a slow creature.once the hare laughed
at itd slow movment.it challenged the tortoise. The tortoise took the
challenge. One day a race between them began. The hare ran more quickly and
lagged the tortoise far behind.the tortoise run slowly as it normally did. At
the mid-point the hare stopped and took rest.later it fell asleep. The tortoise
continued running and crossed the hare.then the hare looked behind to have a
view of the tortoise.meanwhile,the tortoise reached the destination and won the
race.
MORAL: Slow And Steady Always Wins The
Race.
